Palak Matar Stir Fry sabzi is a quick and easy recipe where fresh green spinach leaves are sautéed with green peas and simple spices.

Palak – ½ bunch
Peas – 1/3 cup
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
Red Chilli – 1
Salt to taste
Oil – ½ tsp
Wash the spinach thoroughly. Chop finely.
Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds and red chilli. Sauté.
Put in the spinach and green peas. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add asafoetida, turmeric and salt. Mix well.
Cook uncovered for 7-10 minutes on medium heat till all the water evaporates and the peas are cooked.
Remove and serve Matar Palak with rice and dal.
