Boondi Dahi Raita Recipe

Dahi boondi raita made with whisked curd and store-bought boondi, is a breeze to make. The easy Indian-spiced yogurt dip is my favourite veggie dip. The fresh, summery tasting boondi wala raita is delicious enough to savour as a snack or serve as side with Aloo Paratha or Veg Biryani.

Ingredients

  • Plain Curd/yogurt – ¾ cup
  • Black salt -1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1/8 tsp
  • Chaat masala – 1/8 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder – 1/8 tsp
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tsp
  • Boondi – ½ cup

Instructions

  • To make this popular raita recipe, firstly, take yogurt in a bowl and whisk it smooth.
  • Then, sprinkle black salt, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder and chaat masala. Blend all the ingredients together.
  • Next, add chopped coriander leaves and boondi. Combine well.
  • Enjoy Spicy Boondi Raita, chilled or at room temperature, with any rice dish or paratha.
