Falooda is a Mughalai chilled dessert made with vermicelli. Traditionally, it’s made by mixing rose syrup, vermicelli, and basil seeds with milk.

Shahi Mango Rose Falooda Recipe:

Indulge in the opulence of Shahi Mango Rose Falooda with this sumptuous recipe. Experience the fusion of sweet mangoes, fragrant rose syrup, and creamy milk, adorned with falooda noodles and nuts. Refreshing Faluda is perfect for satisfying your dessert cravings on warm summer days!

  • For Rose Mango Falooda recipe, firstly soak sabja seeds for about 15 minutes. Once they swell up, drain the excess water and set aside.

  • Next wash, peel and chop the mangoes. In a blender, puree the chopped mangoes until smooth. Set aside.

  • Then take one litre of milk in a saucepan and add 200 ml of water to it. Bring it to a boil.

  • Empty the Falooda mix into the boiling milk.

  • Boil the mixture for 15-20 minutes, while stirring continuously till it becomes creamy.
  • Cool the mixture and then refrigerate to chill.
  • To assemble the Falooda, take six serving glasses and start layering the falooda. Begin by drizzling a tablespoonful of Rooh Afza rose syrup at the bottom of the glasses.

  • Next put in a spoonful of soaked basil seeds.

  • Top it with about 3 ladlesful of the prepared Faluda.

  • Drizzle a few drops of red colour (optional).

  • Next add a layer of mango puree

  • Garnish the falooda with chopped mixed nuts.

  • Shahi Mango Rose Flavoured Faluda Milkshake is ready!

  • Serve Shahi Mango Rose Falooda immediately, allowing guests to mix the layers before enjoying the heavenly combination of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp Rooh Afza
  • 3 tbsp Sabja seeds basil seeds
  • 2 mangoes pureed
  • 1 litre milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 200 grams Falooda Mix Rose Flavoured
  • ½ tsp Red rose emulsion optional
  • ½ cup chopped nuts almonds, cashewnuts, pistachios

Instructions

  • For this homemade Faluda Recipe, firstly soak sabja seeds in water for about 10-15 minutes until they swell up. Drain excess water and set aside.
  • Next peel and chop the mangoes. Blend chopped mangoes until smooth. Set aside.
  • Boil a litre of milk with one cup of water. Add the Faluda mix and boil the mixture for about 15 minutes. Stir continuously till it becomes creamy.
  • Cool and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • To assemble Shahi Falooda, take tall serving glasses.
  • Add a spoonful of Rooh Afza Rose Syrup to each glass.
  • Then put in a spoonful of soaked sabja seeds over the rose syrup.
  • Then follow it up with a layer of rose-flavoured falooda mix.
  • Add a few drops of red rose emulsion (optional).
  • Pour a generous amount of mango puree over the falooda sev layer in each glass.
  • Sprinkle mixed chopped nuts on top.
  • Serve immediately with a long spoon and a straw for enjoying all the layers together.
  • Enjoy your delicious Mango Faluda Milkshake!

Notes

  • For Falooda toppings, you can also garnish with saffron strands and edible rose petals for an extra touch of elegance. Or top with scoops of ice cream.
