Soak basil seeds in water for 10 minutes until fully expanded.
In a blender, combine mint leaves, lime juice, sugar, salt, ice cubes, and water. Blend until smooth.
Strain the blended mixture using a fine sieve or muslin cloth.
Fill serving glasses with fresh ice cubes.
Add 1 tbsp of the soaked basil seeds to each glass.
Pour the strained Mint Limeade over the prepared glasses.
Garnish with a lemon slice on the rim or floating in the drink.
