Cool and refreshing raitas beautifully complement any meal. Come summer, and dahi raita is a staple item in my everyday menu.
Indian summers are swelteringly hot. The heat and humidity can make everyday life pretty uncomfortable and you just crave something light and cool to refresh you. I also have this chilled yogurt dip with khara boondi at the ready – it’s my go-to summertime dip!

Bhoondi ka raita is fast, easy and totally bliss. There’s nothing complicated about this beautifully soothing raita recipe. The key ingredients are thick and creamy curd, crisp khara boondi and Indian spices. One of my favourite things to do with dahi is to make raitas or dips. Boondi Raita Recipe is totally worth trying.
If serving chilled, then add the boondi just before serving to retain the crunch.
