  • Pour 3/4 cup of water over the bread slices.

  • Mash them up and leave to soak.

  • Meanwhile, take suji and rice flour in a mixie jar.

  • Just dry grind the ingredients.

  • Then add ¾ cup water to the suji and rice flour mixture.

  • Blend well.

  • Next add the soaked bread slices to the same mixie jar.

  • Blend the soaked bread slices, suji and rice flour well.

  • Add ½ tsp salt and 6 tbsp. water and blend the batter again.

  • Remove the bread dosa batter into a bowl and leave aside for 10-15 minutes.

  • Then add baking soda to the dosa batter and mix well.

  • Now heat a non-stick pan. Sprinkle a little water and wipe dry with a tissue.
  • Next, take a ladleful of batter and pour on the hot tava, over low heat. Spread in a circular motion with the back of the ladle, moving from centre of the pan to its outer edge. Ensure the tava is on low flame or you’ll not be able to easily spread the dosa.

  • Leave the dosa to roast undisturbed for about 30 seconds over medium heat. Then drizzle ½ tsp oil all along and on top of the dosa.

  • You’ll notice that the outer edges of the dosa will start to peel away from the pan.

  • Then flip the dosa, let it cook for 15 seconds.

  • Finally, fold the dosa in half and remove onto a plate.

  • Make the remaining dosas in the same way. Always mix the batter well before making the dosa. If the batter thickens, keep adding a few teaspoons of water to dilute it.

  • Serve delicious Bread Dosa Quick and Crispy with chutney or sambar.
