Mango mousse is best mango dessert you can make for summer. Made with only 3-ingredients, each spoonful is bursting with sweet mango flavour. It has a light and creamy texture that simply melts in your mouth. This fluffy and airy eggless mango and cream dessert is an absolutely irresistible sweet treat that’s so simple and really easy to make.

Filled with fruity and rich mango goodness, this wonderfully dreamy, creamy eggless dessert requires no cooking!

  • To make this mango mousse, firstly wash and peel the mango. Slice the mango into cubes and transfer them to the blender.

  • Blend the mango cubes to a smooth mango puree. You can also use store-bought mango puree, too.

  • Keep the mango puree aside.

  • Dissolve the gelatin in a small bowl with 2 tbsp of water.

  • Mix it with a spoon and allow to sit for a minute.

Then, add in the prepared mango puree and mix well.

  • Keep the gelatin-puree mixture aside.

  • Next, pour the heavy whipping cream into a mixing bowl. Place it over an ice-filled bowl to keep it chilled while it’s whipped.

  • Using an electric mixer, whip the heavy cream to medium stiff peaks – about 3 minutes.

  • If you crave a sweeter mousse, you can add in powdered sugar to the heavy cream while whipping it.
  • Now, gradually fold the mango-gelatin mixture into the whipped cream with a silicone spatula, in three batches.

  • Mix well to combine.

  • Mango cream is ready.

  • Then divide the prepared mango mousse into serving glasses or bowls.

  • Chill them in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

  • Once they’re chilled, take them out and top with some fresh cubed mango.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mango puree made with 1 large mango
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp gelatin powder
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • For this mango mousse, firstly wash one large mango well. Peel the skin and slice the mango into cubes.
  • Place the mango cubes in a blender and blend to a smooth puree. Keep aside
  • Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Allow to sit for a minute.
  • Then, add the mango puree to it and mix well.
  • Pour the double cream into a chilled bowl placed over a bowl of ice. Whisk the cream with an electric mixer for about three minutes or until you get medium stiff peaks.
  • If you like a sweeter version, then add powdered sugar to the double cream while whipping it.
  • Fold in the gelatin-mango pulp mixture to the double cream in three batches until the mango and cream are well combined.
  • Scoop the creamy mango mousse into serving glasses. Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  • Remove and top with fresh mango cubes.
  • Serve chilled Mango Mousse.
