  • For this Sojne Phool Bhaja recipe, firstly soak the chickpeas overnight. Pressure cook until soft. Drain and keep aside.
  • Wash the drumstick blossoms thoroughly. Ensure the stalks are removed. Soak the flowers in salt water for 30 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Add a broken red chilli, and then the drumstick blossoms. Stir and cook covered for 5-6 minutes. The blossoms give out water.
  • Put in the kala chana, add salt and mix well. Cook till all the water has evaporated and the blossoms turn tender.
