- To make Wholesome Plain Paratha, firstly take well-sieved atta, in a mixing bowl.
- Then add salt and ghee or oil to the atta and mix all the ingredients well.
- Now gradually add a little water, mix everything together, and knead the dough with your hand till it all comes together and you get a soft dough. Cover the dough and leave aside for ten minutes.
- Then divide the well-kneaded dough into equal portions and roll each portion using your palms into round balls.

Ingredients
- Wheat Flour – 1 cup + ½ cup for rolling out parathas
- Salt to taste
- Water – about ½ cup
- Ghee/Oil – 4-5 tsp
Instructions
- Combine wheat flour, salt and 1 tsp ghee/oil in a mixing bowl. Add a little water and knead into a soft dough. Cover and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
- Roll out each ball into a circle on a floured surface. Apply ghee/oil and fold in half.
- To prepare paratha recipe, apply ghee/oil once again and fold into half again.
- Dip in dry flour and roll out into a triangular-shaped paratha (or square-shaped or circular).
- Heat a griddle or tava. Place the rolled out paratha on it and cook till brown spots start to appear on the surface.
- Flip over and let the underside cook.
