- To make vegetable pizza, firstly preheat the oven to 220C.
- Then prepare your desired vegetable pizza toppings.
- Cube the onion, capsicum and tomato. Keep the olives, paprika peppers, sweet corn, grated cheese and seasoning ready.
- Place the store-bought pizza base on a plate.
- Brush the top with 3/4 tsp of olive oil (to keep it from getting soggy from the all the toppings).
- Next spoon on 1 tsp of pizza sauce and spread all over the base.
- Then sprinkle all over with 1-2 tbsp grated cheese.
- Next place the veggie pizza toppings – cubed onions, cubed tomatoes and cubed capsicum
- Top with sweet corn kernels, paprika and olives.
- Place the vegetable topped pizza on a baking tray and bake at 220C for about 10 -15 minutes, until the crust is browned and the cheese is melty. If you want, you can top with some more cheese at the end of the baking time.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle Italian seasoning and mixed herbs. You can also drizzle some olive oil on top for extra flavour.

Homemade Vegetarian Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 pizza bases
- 1 ½ tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp pizza sauce
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 small tomato diced
- 1 small capsicum diced
- ¼ cup sweet corn
- 1 tbsp olives
- 1 tbsp paprika peppers chopped
- 3 tbsp grated cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
Instructions
- To make this loaded veggie pizza, preheat the oven to 220C.
- Then get all the toppings ready.
- Cube the onions, bell peppers and tomatoes. Keep the olive oil, pizza sauce, grated cheese ad seasoning ready.
- Place one pizza base on a baking tray and smear with ¾ tsp olive oil.
- Then apply 1 tsp pizza sauce over it.
- Sprinkle about a 1 ½ tbsp. of grated cheese all over.
- Next add the toppings – onion, tomato, bell pepper, sweet corn, paprika and olives – all over the pizza.
- Place the baking tray in the oven and bake at 220C for about 10-15 minutes until the bases are crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
- You can add some more cheese towards the end of baking time.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle ½ tsp Italian seasoning and ½ tsp mixed herbs all over it. You can also drizzle a little olive oil on top.
