Veg Pizza With Readymade Base – Homemade Pizza

Veg Pizza is fresh and bursting with flavor, featuring sweet corn, tomatoes, paprika, bell peppers, olives and onions. With a base of rich pizza sauce and golden, molten cheese underneath, of course, veggie pizza is a deliciously loaded delight. Made with store-bought pizza base, this fresh and flavourful Italian dish comes together so quickly!

Nothing comes close to a fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza, and once you see how easy it is to assemble a pizza for yourself, you’ll never order in again. Play around with the toppings and add your favorites to customize it. Pepperoni, baby spinach, mushrooms, pineapple, tofu? You can have it all!

This perfect vegetable pizza is easy and delicious and healthier than delivery! This mouth-watering veg pizza is the best tasting pizza ever. This popular dish of Italian cuisine comes out wonderfully tasty, with a crisp base.

  • To make vegetable pizza, firstly preheat the oven to 220C.
  • Then prepare your desired vegetable pizza toppings.
  • Cube the onion, capsicum and tomato. Keep the olives, paprika peppers, sweet corn, grated cheese and seasoning ready.

  • Place the store-bought pizza base on a plate.

  • Brush the top with 3/4 tsp of olive oil (to keep it from getting soggy from the all the toppings).

  • Next spoon on 1 tsp of pizza sauce and spread all over the base.

  • Then sprinkle all over with 1-2 tbsp grated cheese.

  • Next place the veggie pizza toppings – cubed onions, cubed tomatoes and cubed capsicum

  • Top with sweet corn kernels, paprika and olives.

  • Place the vegetable topped pizza on a baking tray and bake at 220C for about 10 -15 minutes, until the crust is browned and the cheese is melty. If you want, you can top with some more cheese at the end of the baking time.

  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle Italian seasoning and mixed herbs. You can also drizzle some olive oil on top for extra flavour.

  • Serve hot and flavourful Veg Pizza with a dipping sauce.

This classic homemade vegetable pizza with a golden and crisp crust around the edge is full of fresh, delicious flavour. You can customize the pizza toppings to create out-of-the-box fresh combinations. Such fun summer pizzas!

Ingredients

  • 2 pizza bases
  • 1 ½ tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp pizza sauce
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 small tomato diced
  • 1 small capsicum diced
  • ¼ cup sweet corn
  • 1 tbsp olives
  • 1 tbsp paprika peppers chopped
  • 3 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs

Instructions

  • To make this loaded veggie pizza, preheat the oven to 220C.
  • Then get all the toppings ready.
  • Cube the onions, bell peppers and tomatoes. Keep the olive oil, pizza sauce, grated cheese ad seasoning ready.
  • Place one pizza base on a baking tray and smear with ¾ tsp olive oil.
  • Then apply 1 tsp pizza sauce over it.
  • Sprinkle about a 1 ½ tbsp. of grated cheese all over.
  • Next add the toppings – onion, tomato, bell pepper, sweet corn, paprika and olives – all over the pizza.
  • Place the baking tray in the oven and bake at 220C for about 10-15 minutes until the bases are crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
  • You can add some more cheese towards the end of baking time.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle ½ tsp Italian seasoning and ½ tsp mixed herbs all over it. You can also drizzle a little olive oil on top.
  • Enjoy delicious Homemade Veggie Pizza.
